Aluminium Diffuser Plates Underfloor Heating
Aluminium Heat Diffuser Plates are an ideal solution for warm-water underfloor heating systems, helping spread heat both evenly and quickly. The Profix® Panel can be combined with the Profix® Plate to create a dry-fit, low-profile, fast response warm-water underfloor heating system.
The purpose-made underfloor heating spreader plates are laid directly on top of the Profix® panels and the pipework held securely in place by the pipe clips within the panels. Engineered wood flooring (minimum 14mm) can then be laid directly on top. The aluminium heat diffuser plates act as a high-performance heat emitter, helping to spread the heat evenly through the engineered wood flooring.

Floor Coverings
The high structural integrity of the Profix® Panels enables the direct application of engineered wood flooring. Alternatively, T & G flooring grade chipboard (or similar) can first be laid as a floating floor over the Profix® Panels, followed by a low TOG carpet & underlay.
Engineered Wood
When installing engineered wood flooring directly, a minimum 14mm thickness engineered wood should be used. For engineered wood of less than 14mm in thickness please refer to either the Profix® Heat Diffuser System (Premium) or the Profix® Ultra-Low-Profile Screed System.
Carpet
Low TOG Carpet & Underlay can be laid over either 18mm or 22mm T & G flooring grade chipboard (or similar) installed as a floating floor.
